About CEAS
CEAS – Centro Equitazione Alto Salento is a professional equestrian centre in Salento, born from an genuine passion for horses and has grown over time through daily work, care and dedication to those who choose to experience horse riding with us.
For over twenty years, we have been guiding people of all ages through structured equestrian paths, built with method, attention, and deep respect for the horse, within a professional yet welcoming environment, where feeling at ease is an essential part of the journey.
Rooted in experience
Our story began in the early 2000s, growing from a family passion for horses and the desire to create a riding centre where horsemanship would be based first and foremost on respect, method, and shared values.
We chose this location because it allowed us to work with calmness and continuity: an open and panoramic area of Salento, just a few minutes from Carovigno, surrounded by nature and ideal for developing a riding school focused on the quality of training and the well-being of both people and horses.
Over the years, study, hands-on experience, and exposure to training environments outside the region have helped shape CEAS into a structured equestrian centre, capable of combining tradition with modern training while remaining firmly connected to its roots.
An equestrian centre built on solid foundations
- Family-run riding centre active since 2004.
- Structured equestrian centre with a methodical and consistent approach to training
- Riding school open to children, adults and experienced riders.
- Reining as the reference discipline and competitive pathway.
- Horse welfare and safety at the core of every activity
- Welcoming and professional environment also attended by families.
Experience shaped over time
Guido currently oversees the training and sporting activities at CEAS, drawing on experience developed over time through study, daily work with horses, and competition.
His professional path also led him beyond the region, particularly to Tuscany, where he refined his approach to western riding and Reining, working within well-structured training environments.
Over the years, he has taken part in regional and national competitions, building solid experience in both rider development and horse training, with a specific focus on young Reining horses.
At the centre of his work are respect for the horse, a gradual and thoughtful training process, and the creation of a balanced horse–rider relationship—principles that guide every activity at CEAS today.
Our approach to daily work
At CEAS, every activity grows from an approach developed over time, based on daily experience and guided by a clear and structured method. Work with horses is planned with constant attention to safety, horse welfare, and the overall quality of the training path, without shortcuts and with respect for each stage of development.
Whether it involves the riding school, horse training, or sporting pathways linked to Reining, the goal is to create a serious and controlled environment where people and horses can grow together with confidence.
The principles behind our work
- The horse comes first, with respect for individual rhythms, needs, and development.
- Gradual and structured pathways, designed to support riders and horses at different stages and levels.
- Constant presence and qualified supervision during all activities, ensuring safety and continuity.
